Recipe Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound ground Italian sausage
- 3 cups Alfredo sauce
- 2 1/2 cups frozen chopped kale, thawed and drained
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 (25-ounce) bag frozen cheese ravioli
- 2 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh sage
Recipe Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add sausage and cook, breaking up into small crumbles with a wooden spoon as it cooks. Cook for about 8 minutes, until sausage is cooked through and begins to brown. Stir in Alfredo sauce and kale. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Remove from heat.
- Spread 1 cup of sausage mixture evenly over bottom of prepared baking dish. Top with half the ravioli, and sprinkle with 1 cup of mozzarella and 1/4 cup of Parmesan. Top with remaining ravioli, sausage mixture, remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Mix bread crumbs, butter and sage in small bowl. Sprinkle bread crumb mixture evenly over ravioli mixture. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes until ravioli are fully heated through and bread crumbs are golden-brown. Allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
