Recipe Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 (16-ounce) bag frozen whole green beans, thawed and patted dry
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 lemon, zested and juiced
Recipe Directions
- Heat oil large skillet over medium-high heat until the oil just begins to shimmer.
- Add green bean to the pan in an even layer and cook undisturbed until it just begins to char, about 1 to 2 minutes. Stir green beans, and continue to cook for 1 minute. Add garlic, and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Remove skillet from heat. Garnish with lemon zest, and drizzle with lemon juice. Serve and enjoy.
