Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 (16-ounce) bag frozen whole green beans, thawed and patted dry
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 lemon, zested and juiced

Recipe Directions

  1. Heat oil large skillet over medium-high heat until the oil just begins to shimmer.
  2. Add green bean to the pan in an even layer and cook undisturbed until it just begins to char, about 1 to 2 minutes. Stir green beans, and continue to cook for 1 minute. Add garlic, and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  3. Remove skillet from heat. Garnish with lemon zest, and drizzle with lemon juice. Serve and enjoy.
