Recipe Ingredients
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2/3 cup dark brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons spiced rum
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 ripe bananas, peeled and halved lengthwise
- 1 (14-ounce) container Chocolate M&M’S® Ice Cream
- Whipped cream, for topping
- 1/4 cup toasted pecans, chopped
Recipe Directions
- Melt butter in large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add sugar, rum, vanilla and cinnamon and bring to a boil, about 4 minutes.
- Place bananas in rum sauce and cook, basting the bananas as they cook until softened, about 1 to 2 minutes.
- Divide bananas between bowls and drizzle with rum sauce. Top evenly with ice cream and whipped cream. Garnish with pecans and serve.
