Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 orange, juiced
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 (32-ounce) bag frozen turkey meatballs
  • 1 (14-ounce) can jellied cranberry sauce
  • 1 (12-ounce) bottle chili sauce
  • 2 cups frozen sliced apples
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Recipe Directions

  1. Whisk orange juice and cornstarch together in a small bowl until combined.
  2. Combine meatballs, cranberry sauce, chili sauce, apples, brown sugar and orange juice mixture in a large slow-cooker. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, until meatballs are fully heated through and sauce thickens and flavors develop.
  3. Skewer meatballs on toothpicks and garnish with parsley. Serve and enjoy.

Tip:

Leftover meatballs make great sliders. Simply serve them on slider buns, or on dinner rolls, with a slice of white cheddar cheese for an easy second meal.
