Recipe Ingredients

  • Olive oil, for brushing grill grates
  • 1 (8.4-ounce) package MorningStar Farms® Veggie Dogs (6 veggie dogs)
  • 1 (10-ounce) package fresh pineapple rings
  • 6 hot dog buns
  • 1 small red onion, chopped
  • Chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish
  • Hawaiian barbecue sauce, for serving

Recipe Directions

  1. Heat grill to medium-high heat and brush the grates with oil. Grill veggie dogs, turning occasionally, until fully heated through and char marks appear, about 5 to 8 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, grill pineapple until char marks appear, about 1 to 2 minutes per side. Chop pineapple rings into 1/4-inch pieces.
  3. Place hot dogs in buns. Top with chopped pineapple, red onion and cilantro. Drizzle with barbecue sauce and serve.
