Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 (16.5 ounce) roll sugar cookie dough
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 (7-ounce) tube white decorating cookie icing
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 12 large marshmallows
  • 2 teaspoons orange confetti sprinkles
  • 1 cup green and red candy-coated chocolate candies

Recipe Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line 2 rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Break cookie dough into large pieces in a large bowl. Add flour and mix together with wooden spoon or hands, until combined. On a lightly floured work surface, roll dough 1/4-inch-thick, using additional flour, as needed, to prevent sticking. Cut out dough with 3-inch-round cookie cutter.
  3. Place cookies on separate prepared baking sheets 1/2-inch apart. Bake, one baking sheet at a time, until edges of cookies are set and just begin to brown around the edges, about 8 to 10 minutes. Repeat with remaining cookies. Transfer cookies to a wire rack and let cool completely at room temperature.
  4. Spread white icing over top of each cookie, letting it drip slightly over the edges to resemble melted snow.
  5. Place chocolate in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave dark chocolate in 30-second increments, stirring between, until melted. Transfer dark chocolate to a piping bag and cut a small tip from the corner.
  6. Pipe chocolate eyes, a nose and a mouth onto each marshmallow to create the snowman’s face. Place an orange sprinkle on each nose to resemble a carrot. Place marshmallows slightly off-center on each cookie to create the snowman’s head. Press three chocolate candies in a line down the center to form the snowman’s buttons. Pipe 2 chocolate stick arms, one on each side of each cookie. Serve and enjoy.
