Recipe Ingredients

  • 24 Grown in Idaho® Super Crispy Tots
  • 12 slices bacon, halved widthwise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 Tablespoon chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, minced
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped fresh chives
  • 2 1/2 Teaspoons distilled white vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Recipe Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and a wire rack. Wrap each tot tightly with 1/2 slice of bacon.
  2. Place bacon-wrapped tots, seam-side-down, in an even layer on prepared baking sheet. Bake until bacon is golden-brown and tots are crisp, about 18 to 20 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, chipotle, herbs, vinegar and garlic in small bowl. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Serve with tots and enjoy.
