Recipe Ingredients

  • 4 Gardein Be'f Burgers
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 packet fajita seasoning
  • 1/2 cup guacamole, homemade or store bought
  • 1/2 cup crema (recipe below)

Crema Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Recipe Directions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. While the grill preheats, heat your olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the bell peppers and onion slices. Cook until they start to soften, about 5 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle the fajita seasoning over the pepper and onion mixture.
  5. Stir well to coat the vegetables with the spices.
  6. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender and slightly charred.
  7. Grill the Gardein Be’f Burgers according to the package instructions.
  8. Assemble the burgers by placing the cooked plant-based burger on the bottom bun.
  9. Top with the cooked pepper and onions.

Crema Instructions

  1. Combine all crema ingredients above until evenly combined. Add 1 teaspoon water if too thick.
  2. Top burger with crema and guacamole.
