Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 pack (of 8) refrigerated biscuits
  • 1/3 cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Chinese 5 spice, or cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar

Recipe Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Open the can, separate biscuits and cut each into 6 pieces - put in a large bowl.
  3. Add the white sugar, 5 spice, and ½ the almonds - toss really well to combine everything.
  4. Grease muffin cups, and put 5 biscuit pieces into each cup.
  5. Put butter in a small pot with the brown sugar, and stir over medium heat until melted.
  6. Drizzle some over each set of biscuits and sprinkle with remaining almonds.
  7. Bake15 – 20 minutes, or until the biscuits are fully set. Let cool slightly, serve and enjoy.
