Recipe Ingredients

  • 12 slices Sargento® Sharp Natural Cheddar Cheese Ultra Thin® Slices
  • 1 long loaf Italian bread
  • 6 hashbrown patties
  • 5 eggs
  • 12 slices of bacon
  • Optional sauce: hot sauce, ketchup, etc.

Recipe Directions

  1. Cook hashbrowns, eggs, and bacon to preference. Do not over cook the eggs as they will be reheated.
  2. Assemble your sandwich. The hoagie can be cut into individual portions or kept as a whole.
  3. If you are making the whole sandwich at once, slice open your Italian bread and layer your ingredients, wrap up your sandwich in aluminum foil and bake at 350F for 15-20 minutes.
  4. If you are making individual sandwiches, cut the bread into individual portions, slice them open, layer in your ingredients, wrap the sandwiches in aluminum foil and put them into the fridge. When you are ready to reheat them, open up the sandwich and reheat to preference.
