- 1/2 cup LAND O LAKES® Margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 2 LAND O LAKES® All-Natural Eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup real semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup toffee bits
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 3 Tbsp. sliced almonds
- 2 Tbsp. toffee bits
Heat oven to 350°F. Combine Land O' Lakes® Margarine, sugar and almond extract in large bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Continue beating, adding 1 Land O' Lakes® All-Natural Egg at a time, until well mixed. Reduce speed to low. Beat, gradually adding flour, baking powder and baking soda alternatively with sour cream, until well mixed.
Spread half of batter into greased 9-inch round cake pan. Sprinkle all filling ingredients evenly over batter. Spoon remaining batter over filling; carefully spread to cover. Sprinkle all topping ingredients over batter.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan. Serve warm or cool.
TIP: Toffee bits are available in the baking section of the supermarket.
