Recipe Ingredients
- 1 (27-ounce) box Marie Callender’s® Vermont White Cheddar Mac & Cheese
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 cup dill pickle chips, roughly chopped, plus more for garnish
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- Special sauce, for drizzling
Recipe Directions
- Preheat oven to broil. Microwave mac & cheese according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, heat oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, and cook, breaking up into small crumbles with a wooden spoon as it cooks. Cook for about 6 to 8 minutes, until beef is cooked through and begins to brown. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Add mac & cheese, 1 cup of cheddar and pickles to ground beef and mix to combine. Sprinkle with remaining cheddar. Transfer to oven and broil until light golden-brown, about 2 to 4 minutes.
- Garnish with additional pickles and drizzle with special sauce. Serve and enjoy.
