Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 (16.3-oz.) can refrigerated biscuits
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 Roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • Fresh basil

Recipe Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F. Open the can of refrigerated biscuits. Using clean hands, stretch out the biscuits to make them flatter - about 6-inches across.
  2. With a large heart-shaped cookie cutter (3 or 4 inches in height), cut out heart shapes and arrange onto greased cookie sheets. Top each heart with pizza sauce, cheese, tomato slices and basil.
  3. Bake at 375F 10-15 minutes or until bottoms are deep golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
