Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 (16-oz.) box of Potato & Cheddar Pierogies (ears)
  • 1 (12-oz.) box Potato & Cheddar Mini Pierogies (nose)
  • Carrots (eyes)
  • Black olives (eyes)
  • Celery sticks (whiskers)
  • Green bell pepper (mouth)
  • Ketchup (mouth)

Recipe Directions

  1. Boil Pierogies for 5 to 7 miunutes and Mini Pierogies for 3 to 5 minutes as directed on box. Cut regular pierogies in half to make ears. Use mini pierogies to make nose. Arrange remaining ingredients on plate as shown in picture. Can serve 16.

Suggested substitutions:

Eyes: Use green olives or cherry tomatoes instead of carrots and black olives.

Mouth: Use sliced mushrooms and red bell peppers or tomatoe instead of green bell pepper and ketchup.

Whiskers: Use carrots or green beans instead of celery.
