Do you own more than one cutting board? Many people do. But in a recent survey conducted by the Partnership for Food Safety Education, only one-third of the respondents use different cutting boards for meats and vegetables.
It is important to always keep raw meat, poultry and seafood apart from foods that won’t be cooked. Use one cutting board for the uncooked meat, and another for salads and ready-to-eat-foods.
By doing this you will avoid cross-contamination, which is how bacteria develops and food-borne illnesses spread. |

Eat Breakfast
Studies show that children who regularly eat breakfast do better in school, scoring better on standardized tests, displaying better behavior and tending to be less hyperactive than children who skipped breakfast.
It makes sense that adults will more than likely feel better and perform better when making sure to eat breakfast before heading off to work.
Fill your freezer with easy, tasty breakfast items like frozen waffles, pancakes, bagels, fruits, breakfast wraps and bowls and much more. In just minutes, you and your family can be “fueled” for a great day ahead. |
