TAKE A WALK in the cool aisles of the store and you will find holiday help at every turn. You can feed the family and/or entertain holiday guests stress-free with the many scrumptious frozen appetizer, meal, side dish and dessert selections.

SHOP EARLY and stock your freezer – you’ll have convenience at your fingertips!

Appetizers – Ready to heat and eat are egg rolls, meatballs, shrimp and more.  Serve on attractive holiday platters and you can truly enjoy your guests.

Dinner – Try the many ready to eat entrees; sure to be hit with family and friends.  Or complement your meal with the many side dish options like frozen vegetables, pastas and breads.

Snacks – It just doesn’t get any easier, or tastier, than pizza, wings, cheese sticks, dips, chicken fingers, fries and more.

Desserts – Add your own special touches to the tasty variety of frozen pies, cakes and ice cream.

Breakfast – Fill your freezer with waffles, pancakes, bagels, muffins and breakfast sandwiches, making holiday mornings much more fun.

If you are wondering whether or not an egg is fresh, try this.  Immerse it in a pan of cool, salted water – if it sinks, it is fresh; if it rises to the surface, you may want to throw it away.

Did you know that pastry made with cold water is flaky, and pastry made with hot water is crumbly?

If you want to get the most juice possible out of lemons, quickly heat them in hot water for several minutes before squeezing them.  Rolling lemons to soften them before squeezing will also provide you with more juice.

Freeze Food Rapidly

  • Freeze food as fast as possible to maintain its quality.  Rapid freezing prevents undesirable large crystals from forming throughout the product because the molecules don’t have time to take their positions in the characteristic six-sided snowflake.

  • Ideally, a food 2-inches thick should freeze completely in about 2 hours.

  • Never stack packages to be frozen.  Instead, spread them out in one layer on various shelves, stacking them only after frozen solid.
